In 1945 , months March,April, and May, I was at Camp Howze,Texas in 49th Battalion, 3rd Platoon, B Company.. Are there any senor veterans that could tell me when we started training and when we finished training and were shipped out some place in new york

PS> I was a Air Cadet and they had too many pilots so I was sent to the infantry at Camp Howzer and that was the first time I saw officer’s in dirty clothes!!!

Hi Art, I typed in Camp Howze, Texas in the search engine Google and there were lots of entries about it, perhaps you could find what you are looking for on one of those sites.
