I was reading the Daily Rag today, and it had a two-page spread on a new website called The Aerial Reconnaissance Archive.
Basically, this site has innumerable aerial recce photos from WW2 (Allied only I think) which are available to the public. I'd imagine there will be a fee, but no idea what.
The article was illustrated with photos from D-Day, the hunt for the Bismarck and other well-known incidents.
The website can be found at
www.evidenceincamera.co.uk, but it does not actually become up and running until Monday 19th January.Looks good at first glance though.
