I doubt that such a website exists. There would be countless new innovations developed during WW2 or improved upon from inventions of before the war.

Perhaps Forum members could each add a few that come immediately to mind and thus create a list?

for example:
jet engine
proximity fuze
radar
napalm
white phosporus (?)
bouncing bomb
APCR & APDS ammunition
H2S
bazooka
artificial moonlight
bridge-laying tanks
zimmerite
infra-red optics
shaped/hollow charge
parachute infantry
helicopter

Helicopters were around before the war, as were airborne troops, first considered as an option in WW1. But is this used in or developed in???

How about the Assault Rifle??? The StG43/44.

Well, the Russians claim they had the first assault rifle during WW1, the Stg was just the first one to coin the term.

I think part of the problem is that the whole lot were pre-war ideas that were developed during the war.

How about the computer (Colossus being the first), the Jet Engine is debatable, the first Jet flew in August and the war started in September. RB is right, the Russians were experimenting with airborne troops during the 30's. I think T.A Gardner could chuck loads of electronic equipment that was brand new into the fray.

The ram jet is probably a good contender for the list.
