In light of the D-Day commemoration, I decided to interview a few acquaintances and ask their knowledge of D-Day. The questions were asked verbally, and the subjects had to answer from memory. The quiz consisted of six questions:

1) What happened on D-Day?
2) During what war did D-Day occur?
3) When was D-Day? (day, month & year)
4) Name five nations that participated in the battle.
5) In what country did the battle take place?
6) Do you know what the term 'fubar' means?* (this question was added after I started the survey, so not all respondents have answers for this question)

*I didn't accept a simple 'yes' as an answer to get this one correct, the subject had to spell out the term 'fubar' for me.
