Did the Germans and Japs ever exchange/ give input on any battles? Would they have taken any advice from the other? An exampleick any German offensive, Jap intelligence recommends attacking with so and so divisions from another direction....Hitler take this advice?

I do remember having read that the Japs did warn the Germans of the summer offensive in 1944 (bagration) as the Japs were in good relatioship with Russia still (until Aug 1945). Don´t know if there were any detailed ideas icluded but a warning anyway with some probables dates.

Don´t think the Germans appreciated the data much.

Not really. The Japanese didn't even bother to tell Hitler they were going to attack the USA. He only found out because of the US news reports on Pearl Harbor.
