156Squadron will become famous soon enough
Cool

I believe I heard a news report recently (in UK) to the effect that the CWG was undertaking to photograph all graves under their control.
Nothing on their site, has anyone heard of this project or where it is at?

Robin

I haven't geard anything about that, but think it would be nice. On one hand 'competition' for my own site, on the other hand, I am working with the Canadian site to do just the same for them her ein Holland. The more places these guys are commorated and remembered, the better.

That reminds me Robin... I have some pics for you too!

I think someone has their wires crossed; CWGC have no plans to do this as it is not part of their charter. They do offer a photographic service for the next of kin of servicemen in their care, In addition and nothing to do with CWFC there are several projects such as the one Stevin mentions which are aiming to put photos on-line.

I noticed the CWGC site has a new look. Also there is a picture now on every (well, many) cemetery pages. Not of the individual graves, though.

Loki, I look forward to visiting your site! Will let you know when I am done.

Well maybe I was not imagining it after all, just lacking a bit of the detail. Obvously the photos I read about were of the cemeteries?.

Well thanks to the CWG Update, none of my links now work from my site www.156Squadron.com. More work to do!

Stevin, I WILL publish those photos that you have sent me, it is just that I have not got it clear in my mind how to link them with existing data just yet.
