An odd one this...

Came across references to WW2 German decontamination units, for gas and other chemical caualties...

Does anyone have any info on their composition?

The basic unit has three sections and a headquarters. Each section has 4 decontamination vehicles assigned. The headquarters has a Kubelwagen, motorcycle and one light truck.

While exact personnel was not listed, I surmise that about 25 men made up each section (the vehicles had a crew of 6) and the headquarters about 8 men for about 80 men total.

There are several decontamination vehicle bodies. These are mounted on either trucks or halftracks and carry the decontamination chemicals along with pumps and sprayers.
