be more specific please ! of what, RAF or US a/c and fighters. bombers, transports ........ what ?

armyairforces.com is a good source network via forums for US bombers especially.

lostplaces.de

there are other forums dedicated to just RAF squadrons/groups with losses records and areas of crashs

I doubt very much whether you'll find any details online : the result would be something of a latter-day Klondike with metal-detector-wielding people digging up half the County.

If you're serious about the subject, the BAAC may be a good starting point : -

Well, researchers tend to guard site information jealously and in the UK, official details tend not to be forthcoming as site investigation is a Government-controlled activity.

In case anyone's wondering what we're talking about, this is what a 'crash site' tends to look like, 63 years on ( although this one's in Norfolk, the adjoining County to Suffolk... )

True Martin, the one behind my house looks the same, but when you start pulling uxo, & bits of blenheim out of the ground, it makes you want to find out the history behind it.

depends on whom you are chatting with, Germans will shrug it off, if you have US vets that speak/understand German and from whence the phrase came on a special belt buckle then yes you will have a great many prob.

interesting it appears on some German forums when it came to crash sites I got a wealth load of info. true if you were to interview one or more that were just tapped into aviation archaelogy then mum would be the word. I know of 2 sorts placed in the Czech republic with a truck load of info and have several wonderful items groun dug of Luftw a/c. Guess I am saying there is information out there, you have to work for it.

I don't know if this will be of any help, but here's a fair selection of related links. But I'll say again, I don't think that the information you seek has ever been properly collated : -

Hah hah, no not at all, anywhere is good, I spent 2 weeks near Braunschweig over Christmas, looking around.

Suffolk is a good starting place, but my interests are mainly with the Luftwaffe & action over the Reich.

Not at all, it is probably me confusing the issue by not being specific..

Your help has been greatly appreciated, my interests are as stated, but seeings as I'm over here (suffolk) most of the time, and with the discovery of the Blenheim, I've become interested in local sites as well, and there doesn't seem to be as much freely available information about UK wreck sites, unless mentioned in "online wartime diaries"

No information or help is ever wasted, both yourself & Erich have been very helpfull, it's just nice to get a helpfull reply to questions..

Thank you once again..

(I still have no idea who flew the Blenheim though)
