This is a forum for a game that I play on the PC all the time. HOI2 Doomsday. And if you don't know the game..each leader have certain traits/skills that they are good at. And Rommel has one "Logistic Wizard" (efficant with supplies etc) which the thread starter does not agree with.

Just thought I'd pass it on..as it's fun to see some "less" educated opinions on the matter.

I just read most of the thread, post # 74 is superb. Rommel has gotten a lot of coverage over the years, and it seems in recent times a sort of backlash has risen up against him because of it. It seems that Pro_Consul has a solid and well thought out perspective on Rommel. I wouldn't mind having him as a member here.

No problem with me to think he was a great general as I started reading about WW2 with Young´s Rommel. Just recently I also got me Rommel´s signature.

ANyway, Gazala was close to end Rommel´s career and DAK.
