Some get these two confused. Rudolph Hess and Rudolph Hoss are two different people. One was Deputy Fuhrer to Hitler and flew to Scotland in 1941, the other was camp Commandant at Auschwitz.

thanks slip, i should have clarified that, when i went to view the Hoss film there was a Hess film there as well.

Is that from the BBC doc/drama Auschwitz? If so I missed it, I'm sure many here will know that Hoess was only camp commandant from 1940-43. I have read his book and found it interesting and yet sterile, what I mean by that is he dose not glorify or condemn what he did.
