I'm looking for any information on my father Dick "Pappy" Daniels. I think he recieved 2 Purple Heats maybe in Anzio. He had photos of a POW or concentration camp, maybe Dachau but they didnt look like liberation photos as the incenerators were in use...Was he a liberator or a POW? Where else might I search?

well Donna, i googled it and came up with quite few places, i would try here to see if you can talk to somebody from that tank battalion.
