The headline states : "Why political correctness has denied wartime bomber crews the honour they deserve".

I know this is a bit of a barrell I have been accused of pushing before, but the Max Hastings article has presented the arguments in, what is to me at least, a balanced and convincing manner:

I really hate it when the Germans play the victims.

WW, I agree. That's quite a statement isn't it!

Anyway, I think these men, these Heroes, deserve to be honored.
