Default Mountain Division Memorial, Whiteface Mountain, NY.

Whilst on honeymoon in '95 we went up Whiteface Mountain, Upstate-NY.
I remember seeing a Memorial to a Mountain Division up there.
Didn't take a photo though.
I've had a Google, couldn't find a photo of it.
I see Jeff is using 10th Mountain Div badge as his avatar.
Has anyone got a photo of the memorial, please?

Aha, I think I've found it.
After 13 years, am I sure it looked like this?
Would like a bigger iamge though.

During WWII they took their training near my house at Camp Swift near Bastrop Texas. The land is flat and the weather is hot, typical Army planning

There is a book written by a surgeon with the 10th called Mountain Troops and Medics, Wartime Stories of a frontline surgeon in the US Ski Troops by Albert H. Meinke Jr. MD I bought the book in 1993 and read it but it was just OK , not really great reading. The guy had a fixation on how different people in different countries used the bathroom !
