Pretty photo, isn't it? The sad thing is that she became a widow on Hiroshima Day, when Maj. Bong crashed on a P-80.

I was at the Canadian War Museum last week for a very brief couple of hours and took some photos of the nose art in the passage leading into the Heavy Equipment Gallery. Please excuse the quality of some of the photos, as I was holding the camera above my head. I have included the poor shots as they still indicated the subject matter of the nose art.
