Default My Dad's WWII Story

I wish I would have recorded or taken notes of my dad's stories. One story that I recall is him taking a wounded officer back to a med station. The officer was either a Captain or Lieutenant. They were under artillery fire and my dad was driving as fast as he could, dodging potholes and what not. A very bumpy ride for someone that is wounded. The officer was yelling at him to "Slow it down Bland". Needless to say he did not slow down with all of that shelling going. He got the officer to the aid station safely. I have more stories and will post more as I recall them.

I forgot to mention that he was in the 6th armored infantry, 1st armored division. I believe that he was in the 2nd battalion. He wrote in a World Atlas book that I have "Landed at Arzew, Nov. 2, 1942". And from what I have learned is that the 2nd battalion landed at Arzew. I do not know which company as I am trying to piece this together.
