Post Remembering those who fought

So i was looking through my old(er) uniform parts from my Royal Canadian Air Cadets uniform and I came across my "Year of the veteran" pin (shown below). And I started to wonder just how much our veterans did for us. They fought, served and in many cases died and I just wanted to say thank you to all of them for their contribution. This world is a much better place thanks to them.

The pin was worn on our right breat pocket durring our 2005 training year and anyone who did not have it was scoulded very much for the lack of respect.

I now wear the pin on the inside of my head-dress to remind myself exactly how much I am thankful for their sacrifice.

So to all veterans on this site and the countless others who are not, thank you.

They shall not grow old in our memories
