Default The Military Vehicle Technology Foundation

Someday, I will have to get off my butt, and schedule a tour of this place. It's almost in my back yard.

There are museums, and there is Jacques Littlefield's creation. All of his vehicles can run, and operate short of firing a round.

Military Vehicle Technology Foundation

RIP Jacques.

Man, you should go - tomorrow!

In the other thread I was talking about the Russian armoured vehicle museum in Kubinka which I really want to see some day, they have the mighty Maus over there too.

And this, I was looking those pictures and a very impressive collection I would say. Some German vehicles too, I thought they were very rare in museums in the USA???? And a very impressive collection of American tanks, some of these are very rare in European museums.

Man, you should go there!

If you look in my "Albums" you will see photo evidence of my visit last year; just before Jaques passed. Fortunately the foundation was set up in perpituity and is still continuing. I am away from my house right now or I would send you the contact information that has the days that "open tours" are available. It is usally only shown to groups of 20 or more.

It is a fantastic resource.

Thanks Brad, though I have the information. Just finding the time that coincides with one of their tours.
