On this day December 7th, 2000 I do hereby acknowledge and pay tribute to all of the men and women of the world who have fought with honor for their countries. I cannot fault a soldier who fights with justice and fairness in his heart for the side of agression or wrong. Intent is the sin of the politician. A man who believes he fighting to protect is home and does it without prejudice earns our respect and rememberance.
To the surviving members of the pearl harbor attack I thank you for your dedication to country and and bravery. For those who died I give my everlasting thanks. I fear however that I can never repay you.
