Do you think the code of honor such as in the days of the knights is still upheld in todays armies?

I think that "old time wars" are the bases for tactics in all wars, and for chivalry, screw it. Do you think the Nazi's upheld high morals when they incinerated people. Hell no. Though, going back in time to ancient wars, they were really interesting. Alexander was the man.

Chivalry went out of the window a long time ago, even though there were many cases of it in WW2 and even Vietnam.

I don't believe there was chivalry by what you are defining. There was chivalry towards equals such as other knights but not towards the peasants. That being said, there is no difference between then and now.
