These are just a few of the German divisions. Will post full list later.

7 SS Prinz Eugen Division
13 SS Waffen-Gebirgs-Division Handschar (Kroatische Nr 1)
23 SS Waffen-Gebirgs-Division Kroatische (Kroatische Nr 2)
Russische Brigade-several units made up of mostly White Russian exiles. The size of the Russische Brigade fluctuated between 300-1,500 men depending on the date.

Sverri, your English is every bit as good as mine, and im here in the USA.

Also, to add to Tallys impressive list, SS Fallschirm 500/600 fought there as well--although they were not that really a great unit--had lost too many casualties and gained nothing. This is when they tried to go after Tito.

I once knew a man who lived in Florida who was a member of that unit. I met him through a Uboat vet as this man was hie best friend. Sadly though, he passed away in late 1999. This man was also THE commanding officer of the F>F>L.'s all german battalion in Indochina and who the famous book by George Robert Elford called: Devils Guard, was mainly about.

When Hans passed away, this man called me on the phone to let me know about this as I was about to leave for work. He cheered me up with a totally unexpected joke:

"Why does monika lewinski wear knee pads?" "Because she does everything on her knees".

I did feel better because of the joke.

Very nice!
And they weren't just pain in Nazi asses, they were kicking them really hard..
Both of my grandfathers(commissair of the brigade and captain) and my grandmother were in Tito's partisans wich I'm proud of.When I was kid they used to tell me war stories which I enjoyed very much.

Talleyrand: Many of those Italian divisions served in North Africa as well... I am very confused there...
