Double thumbs up and three cheers, for all his efforts going into these forums.
Hip, hip, hoorayyy!

Many thanks for a job VERY well done my friend. Also thank you for the very nice mentionings on the title page. I can only imagine that with all the "decorations" that I will look like a Prussian Fieldmarshall--or a Prussian Prince in the least.
Many thanks Otto, and I know everyone will agree with me in saying you are doing a VERY good job.

Carl :
Not a Duke or a Baron possibly ? Yes, Otto thanks for these forums where we can be ourselves and not feel ridiculed in the slightest and it does appear over the many postings I have done and seen here that we have a very civil bunch of guys and gals..........I am looking for more interesting conversation with you all !!

Thanks guys, I think this show of support will give Otto a nice "shot" of energy. If it doesnt, then I will mail him a large bottle of Cinnamon Schnapps, THAT will give him a nice "jolt" maybe not of energy though, but a jolt none the less.

Thanks guys I appreciate the support, (and love).
Seriously though thanks to all, I'll try and make this place better and better, while maintaining the professionalism we all provide. I honestly couldn't have done without all of your help, (especially that of Mr. Carl Evans).

Here are my delayed two cents; Thnx to Otto and affiliates for making this board possible. Although a newcommer, I feel the way people discuss and help eachother on this board very pleseant and helpful. It is one of the few boards I visit daily (awh, well, almost daily). I for my part hope to be able to add to this board in the future.
Thanks to you all.

Aw shucks and this posting was meant for Otto and not me
I can imagine Ottos fingers are about worn down to nubbins--after these big changes are completed.

Carl, as Otto says, you deserve a big pat on the back to mate. Can't be easy, all the work you guys do here, as well as your own lives.
And as an old soldier of the future, your work for the vets is a great mark of respect for these old gentelmen.

Thank you Bish, I appreciate the nice compliments. That gives me more charge to my "vet" batteries--to continue.
Also, I would like to give you and others a compliment of kind. This place wouldnt be as good as it is now if it were not for having current and post military personnel like you and Andreas--just to mention a few, to also give us your perspectives on how things really are.
Also, I want to give my compliments to people like Erich Brown, Stevin. O, Ryan. O. Timo. H. and so many others like Ron, Erich (Bubi) H. PzJgr, PzGdr, for their hard work and research and input here as well.
I have learned so very much from you all and are glad for it. I can hardly wait to see how things will go when the awards are back and with the photo sections are added. I think so many will enjoy this site more because everyone gets "rewarded" for participating.
I apologise if anyone feels left out--im just in a hurry to type this as the library is about to close for the day and im getting "mean" starts from the librarians to shut down the computer.

Thanks to Otto for providing a professional forum to discuss our favorite topic. Thanks to everyone else for keeping it professional and a source of valuable information to those with interest and questions. Last but not least, thanks for helping the world not forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice along with the survivors who lost alittle of themselves fighting for what they believed in. Lets not forget.

Thanks to Otto for all his effort and also to everyone else who posts here, this is the only Forum where i have been comfortable posting on a regular basis ,due to the excellent way in which everyone conducts themselves and respects the views of all who post.
Long may it continue and i think the fact that Carl states we have veterans who come on site is a credit to everyone.

Is it somebody's birthday or is this one of those spontaneous "We love the General Secretary" demonstrations? Or did I miss something??
Seriously, I appreciate everybody who helps and has helped to make these forums what they are. They are, like I have also said many times before, the only forum in the net known to me where there are no emnities and no mudfights going on, something I personally can't stand. So this is a very great compliment to everybody who posts here.

I agree with Andreas 100%. This is one of the friendliest forums around. And fortunatly, none of the idiots have found it.
Though i must admit i do like the odd argument now and again, the closed minds of some can get annoying.
I have a request for Otto while i'm here. Would it be possible to put something on the front page that says if anyone is in the chat room. It takes a while to get in, often to find it empty. But it might get more visits if you know someone is already in there.
Guys, i am off for 3 weeks training. Keep up the good work, see you when i get back.

Thanks for the support for thiis thread also guys--I AM moved.... Andreas I especially do thank you for that nice compliment--I fully agree with you and all the others here. This IS simply the most civil set of forums I have ever had the pleasure to have been on.
Unfortunately about 6 months or was it about a year ago--there was one pereson who tried to rant and rave a bit much, and he was pretty much ignored and slithered away.
All of you good people here ARE what makes these forums enjoyable to be a part of and I am glad to have the chance to be here to participate here with you.
Im serious, if I had a Knights Cross to award Otto for all of his efforts--I would. Also, I am a very firm believer that all of you too, deserve as much as or more than I, on being credited for things here.
I have also firmly believed that these forums would continue to grow and become more and more successful in the future. In due time--I firmly believe it to be the #1 site on the ENTIRE internet.

As Abe Lincoln said when I pulled a $5.00 out of my pocket: "OUCH!, I need sunglasses--too much sunshine". He had to blink from all the sunshine because its been so long since he was taken anywhere.

Ive slipped a visit in there as well a few times but, I only had echos. Also this would be a great way for us to talk about things like the T-Shirt Idea for instance
