You may have noticed that you are having problems with your avatars. The is no reason to despair!

Peppy just sent me an updated list of the Avatars. Unfortunately they were all renamed to new files. The good thing is that we now have 200+ available.

If you find your avatar isn't visible. Simply go into your profile and reselect the one you like.

For little more details on the Avatars, this is how they are organized:

-Historical Personalities, grouped by nation and then branch of service
-Films, grouped more or less by title, (IE Saving Private Ryan is SPR), in some cases an image from the movie poster(s) have been included before the characters of that film.
-TV shows, including cartoons
-PC and Console game characters
-Custom Living History Avatars, grouped by nation, (feel free to submit yours!)

For more information of each Avatar, simply right click the image, and then select "properties" to see the image name. There is usually some unique and distict information about the character in each avatar's name.

Peppy sent me some more avatars, we now stand at 235+. These new ones are really nice looking too!

I was up etting my fill of the World Cup, with all the games starting between 2:30am and 7:30am, these are trying times indeed.

Hi Otto - any chance of some BRITISH avatars?!

Some of them look like they come from Combat Mission - that has a few Brits in it.

While I like my Jerry sniper, I would love to have a British Tommy instead.

How about some from: "A Bridge Too far???" Im game for that, and, IF I can ever get off my ashcan--im STILL trying to find a place that can make pics out of my movie cells from Cross of Iron and A Bridge Too Far.

Just so you guys know, the Avatars are all (95%) made by Peppy. I'm sure if you send him an email or post a link to a site with some nice images he might help out. Right Pep???

Bish, either is good. If you send them to Peppy he will probably get them back to me sooner, but Peppy has a yahoo account so there might be some restrictions on the size of files he can accept. My email is more reliable but it might take a little longer.
