Hi Zurf
I thought we new recruits should stick together altho' at my age I'd probably be in the Volkssturm . . .
Can't immediately help with the Tiger. I know a website that does brilliant Panther V sounds. The Tank Museum here in England has been restoring it's Tiger 1 for years, recently started the engine and . . bang! I'll be reading other replies with great interest.
All the best
Martin

Thanks Martin do you have a link to the site with the panther sounds? Im trying to get the bone chilling sound of the tiger moving for someone who is making a tiger model for a game called operation flashpoint. I wanted to get that full effect when you hear the tiger coming at you and it makes you go "oh s***"

Welcome Zurf! I do not remember the site but I know Carl had a link to a site that had a moving model Tiger I and it had sounds of the engine and the cannon shooting. It was posting in a previous post I believe under modeling. I will look.

Hi Zurf
The Panther is on : -
http://www.jagdtiger.de/index2.htm.
Click on 'Movies' and click on Panther photo.
Then I hunker down into my foxhole.. er, seat .. and squint at the lead tank of Kampfgruppe Peiper...actually, a Minichamps 1/35 Panther on my desk..crank up the speakers.....
Hmmmm. Maybe I should get out a bit more ?

Thanks Pzjgr--I think it was from the game Eastern Front by Talonsoft. It has a great intro and sounds and interesting music. I can hardly wait tillI can get my own computer so I can play it some more.
