As I have been saying, I made some small but necessary alterations to the site. I changed the startpage to a newer more slick design, and I added a bunch of information and guides about the site itself.
Feedback on this would be appreciated. I'd especially like to know if there are holes in my information, ie.: questions what weren't answered in my FAQs.
You will need to go here to see what I'm talking about :

Otto,
Sure is a good looking new design! Thumbs up! Very clear text!
Haven't been able to go through it thoroughly, bu so far it all looks good and text is very understandable.

I definitely fall into the 'relaxation' category !
Very, very well done, Otto. It's a real achievement to be able to set sensible rules without sounding 'po-faced', but you've done it !
Many thanks again for your efforts

Ditto to the above. Looks very good. Can't think of any questions that might come up that you have not answered. I have onequestion. Whats that Avatar you are using.

There are still a few minor question I will add to the FAQ that were raised in this thread:
http://www.ww2forums.com/cgi-bin/ubb...c;f=1;t=000270
I'll add them when I get a chance.
My Avatar is a playing piece from a game called Totaler Krieg, it represents the Zhukov Army Group. It is a private avatar that no one else has access to. I need some priveledges you know!! I made a special request to Peppy for it. BTW, Peppy has let me know that he will be including items other than characters in the Avatars. He mentioned vehicles, weapons, aircraft and symbols, so I think you will agree that has some good ideas in mind, and he does good work. He has no timetable for this, but he very quickly supplied us with about 250 avatars, so I'm looking forward to his work.

Great work Otto--Peppy. The only thing I can think of as additions for the foprums is the addition of the Knights Cross pictures and the other photos section.
Oh and as a possible t-shirt idea--I CAN use images from film cells of Cross of Iron and A Bridge Too Far--according to someone I talked to who is with the movie database org.
As I own the original image--i CAN copy it at will.
