What was the SS Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt?

This may be something for Friedrich to translate but isn't this the Allgemeine SS?

Rasse und Siedlungshauptamt (RuSHA) controlled the racial purity of the SS-men (and their future wives) and administered the settlement of discharged SS-men in the east. It sounds like the department that did the research on family backgrounds for the SS. Found it at this link:
