Andy--thank you--Ive only just began research for the Polish Campaign and I know there are a lot of holes to be filled.
I need to see if I can find smaller attached units as well--but so far have come up with nothing. I can see that Kursk was much easier to get info on. Im now going to try my hand at an Orbat of Army Group South--which I think is also full of mistakes.

Actally, the source I mentioned covers the complete German OoB (Aarmy, Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine for the "East Front" Sept. 1, 1939.
I admit that I'm too lazy to type all that stuff, but rather wait that you're doing it and give my input on things that are not in sync. Forgive me that.
Cheers,

You have an Orbat for the Kriegsmarine? and Luftwaffe? agr--I would give my front teeth for a Luft and Kriegsmarine Orbat--especially for the whole war. Do you mind letting me know what the source is?

Welldone Andy, thank you. Ill also try to remember to tell Erich B. about this as well. Im also going to try to do a bit of research on the units to see who from those units were RKTs at that time and became RKTs later on.

Well, I have not been able to find any units, but I will go with the commanders (as always) and post pics of them. (I love doing that!)
Oberkommando des Heeres
Oberbefehlshaber der Heeres
Generaloberst Walther von Brauchitsch
Chef des Generalstabs des Heeres
General der Artillerie Franz Halder
Heeresgruppe "Nord"
Generaloberst Fedor von Bock
III Armee
General der Artillerie Georg von Küchler
IV Armee
General der Artillerie Günther von Kluge
Damned! I couldn't find anypic of Küchler, but I will!

Great shot of Brauchitsch! I can see what most of his awards are. I wish it was in color so I could tell exactly what they are--hard to tell as so many look alike.
Here goes from left to right:
1914 ek2, Baverian Military Merit Cross 4th Class, w/ crown, either a Bavarian House Order or a Bavarian Knights Cross of somekind, unknown, 1914-1918 War Cross of Honor (Hindenburg Cross), two Third Reich long service awards equalling at least 25 years, unknown, and the last one is either an Austrian, Hungarian or Bulgarian Campaign Medal. He wasnt awarded with anything new in ww2--just the Long Service awards you see as a cross and a medal. I do not believe he was in long enough to get a War Merit Cross (1939)

Carl, I have got one colour shot of that very same pic, but can't post it here. I can send it to you by e-mail if you want. Just tell me.
