For some reason my profile pic does not show up when i post something. I typed the url correct i am sure. When i click my name after i post the pic shows up in my profile but not on my beside posted message.

What you are refferimng to is actually two different things. You profile image appears only when you view your profile. In general, people put pictures on themselves there. The image beside your posts and under your name when you post is called an avatar. You can read all about them here:
