No prob, Erwin. Actually, (you may have noticed in some threads), production and logistics is one of the areas I really try and focus on. WW2 was really all about logistics and production, if you ask me.
A bit of "advice", I guess- remember to look at the whole picture. On cannot (IMO) simply look at production numbers of material lists. The whole idea of production and logitics is a huge, inter-connected web.
When looking at a tank, for example. It's easy to just look, and say, well, Germany had enough resources to build this tank, they built it, so there we go- there's another tank in the fight.
Not so fast...
Was the tank built well? Were there enough of ALL the required materials to do a good job building the tank?
Can you actually get the tank to the front where and when it is needed?
Are there enough of the other required resources for this tank to function- feul, crew, spare parts?
Another aspect of this... Erwin, tell me- how many Tiger I tanks did Germany produce during WW2? Should be relatively easy to get a relaible number, right?
