Me and a buddy of mine want to go cycling in the Walloons and we want to see a lot of tanks and other vehiciles that were left by the Germans and the Americans.

Can anyone send me information about this in the form of interesting maps, sites.

We're planning to do this trip in the second half of June. We will take a lot of pictures.

sommecourt will become famous soon enough
You'll probably find the following areas of my website of use:

Ardennes Battlefields

Ardennes Battlefield Tourism Guide

The Bulge area is a huge open air museum; with some great indoor museums as well. Enjoy your trip!

Sommecourt's website is definitely a good place to start.

A useful little book to take in your back-pack is ' A Tour Of The Bulge Battlefield ' by William C C Cavanagh published by Pen & Sword ( it's still in print, ISBN 0 85052 834-8 ).

Thanks all. I'll post a map what we intend to do. We'll do it by bycicle. I will scan the pictures and put them on the site.

We are planning to do this in the second half of June.
