I read on the news that they found the wreck of the Hood today. They have been amazed by the ammount of battle damage apparently.

Thay did? Do you know if the news is online? and where?
IM amazed that The Hood had even three survivors. I wonder of one of them, Mr. Ted Briggs, is still living?

A documentary about the finding of the Hood has been televised in Britain on Channel 4. I believe you can access the site on www.channel4tv.com (or something like that).

Ted Briggs is still alive and was on hand after the Hood was discovered on board the salvage ship.

Did you see the link address I had put into the section dealing mit der British? Its a link to the official HMS Hood site. It also shows a current photo of Ted Briggs, and he is also the vets association leader.

For any in the States who may be interested, I've just noticed on the 'Hood' website that the two-part British TV documentary about Hood/Bismarck is due to be shown on PBS Channels later this month ( July 21st ).
If it's in your area, it's worth seeing.
