That is a denigrating comment about the Italians. No offense intended. But accidents happen everywhere. And now, if you don't know Italy is very strong militaryly talking. If the Regia Aeronautica did not performed as it should have during WWII was because of stupid and corrupt officers (Liutenants to marshalls) who just did their jobs to earn money and have privileges, not to serve their country. Italian air-crafts were very good and it had really good aviators. You must remember about marshall Italo Balbo and his trip to Brazil in the 1920s and 1930s. They nearly won the Schneider cup, etc. The quality of its men and aeroplanes does not come to the issue.
