Just heard that a BBC team have found the wreck of the Ark Royal in 3,500 feet of water. No pictures as yet, but the guy inteviewed said they could see the wreck of aircraft that had come of the deck and alot of other details.

From what they were saying, i don't think they wre. They did not say so, but i got the impression they found it by accident, but that could be just me getting the wrong end of the stick. I'm going to check the BBC sight, see what that has.

He is the discoverer of ships like: Titanic, Bismarck, some Aircraft Carriers-like I think the Yorktown--and much other stuff.

Thanks for the info Bish. It's always interesting when they find famous wartime sunken ships. At that depth they may even find some of her Swordfish aircraft nearby, since when she went down they were still onboard, most of them actually still on the flight deck.

Can't wait to see the pictures.
