Yes, this is a solicitation to visit my site. No, there are absolutely no ads nor any profit motive.

I have built a web site around my grandfather's journals and letters, written during WWII. He was a navigator in 1944 and a member of the 376th Heavy Bombardment Group. He was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross.

What is unique about the site is that all the content was written by him during the war. Currently we have his daily journals, soon we will add letters to and from home.

I hope some of you find the site interesting. If so, please tell your friends.

Thanks. Happy Holidays.

(Yes, he is alive and doing well... if you like the site, he would love to hear from you!)

Thanx Magnolia!And welcome!

Looking great-your site- and waiting for more to come.I only had time to check some of the site but it looked good. I have more time on the next few days after some delicious Christmas food-and the SAUNA of course- so I´ll be back!

Merry Christmas as well!

Hi Magnolia,

Thanks fro this site. It is great to read you granddad's story there. It is good that these stories get out and be known what the war was like for men and women like him.

Keep updating. Thanks for letting us know!

This is an old thread, but it deserves a bump.
