They do have some great stuff with SOME stuff priced fairly. Trouble is is that TOO much stuff is over priced.
For example:
I found a Hamburg Soldiers honor Badge for I think $185.00 and the mini stickpin that is SUPPOSED to be with this badge--was for $88.00 each being about double and quadruple the price.
Its a piss poor shame that these jerks are splitting up a set to make more money
I have a mint boxed Hamburg Soldiers Honor badge, that I got for $45.00. Made by Ges Gesch.

I think they have had this for sale for over a year now, if you price things to high no one will buy it and it will just sit there and collect dust.
If only I could have such thing

Indeed it would help here alot if one was filthy rich...
By the way, Friedrich, have you been singing in Italian in the shower lately something like " I want von Manstein´s uniform...?!"

Greetings all -
Lovely day here in the Pacific Northwest!
First of all, I must state irrequivocably that Carl is correct in his statement that "The Collector's Guild" has some very nice items, yet, SO MUCH OF IT is over priced.
For example, I was in search of a tropical breadbag. I scouted around and found one on this site for $155! Cripes, must have gold thread sewn it to I figured. Wanting, no, needing one badly for a living history display that required tropical kit, I nearly jumped on it, but elected to wait. Glad that I did. Found the same thing locally at a militaria show a week later for $45. Saved me three quarters of the price they were asking for one.
Now mind you, I give you that old Erich V's uniform is a one of a kind ornament, but still, if I were to jump on something like that for $42,500, I'd best be able to get some worthy provenance to go with it. Besides, there are just too many other great items running around out there searching for a home. So, no competition here!
Hey, hope all of you are enjoying your day.
Respectfully,
Bill

Hi Bill--I sure am enjoying today. Kinda hot but not do humid and it has turned out to be a great Sunday.
I did like prices on a VERY few of their items but--I cant bring myself down to actually ordering from them. My stomach turns at the thought of using my credit card to support an expensive site.
Too many places one can go to buy stuff for a cheaper price--as well as buying from friends.
