Our old friend Brian Guy was on BBC TV tonight as part of the South of England local news. They took Brian back to the house where he recovered from his wounds in NW Europe, which is now owned by pop star Sting. Brian spoke about some of his experiences, but most of the feature was about the BBC presenting him with a photo of himself standing in the main room of the house - it was a nice photo!

Great to see Brian 'in the flesh', and nice to see him wearing his (well earned) medals and NVA badge.

Good on ya, Sapper!

Thank you for sharing the news Sommecourt. Sommecourt or Sapper, has the BBC posted this online?

Thanks for that, Sommecourt. We used to get BBC South Local news in Holland (as part of BBC1 and 2), but now it is news only about London.

Very sorry to have missed this. I would have loved to see it.

I hope Sapper Brian gets a lot of cheer for his picture!
