Anybody know what happened to the 17 yr old German kid that flew to Moscow in a small prop job several yrs back? Whats he up to now? what did the Russkies do with him etc? I imagine that old LF pilots must have had a good laugh over that. I jokingly call it the last mision of the LF.

I only remember that he spent some time in prison, got free and made a book ( and became a millionaire I think ). Probably not much else.

Yeah, even if he had some political goals when he flew, he might have gotten himself killed as well.

We have same kinda fellas around, like some guys went to Iraq to become human shields for the bombing a year and half back. I think one even wrote a book. In Filaad you cannot get rich by writing books ( only a couple ) but I guess he got a nice sum anyway.
