Erich,

I have photographed all the RK Graves at Cannock Chase a few years ago for the OdR.They are in possesion of all the photos now but i will go through my records and find the photo of Johann Dreher for you.

Also at this cemetry are many WW1 Graves including some Zeppelin crews and the most Senior Officers from WW2 there are Field Marshall Ernst Busch and SS Obergruppenfuhrer Maximillian von Herff.the only one with a grave to himself is Busch.

Paul

Guys,

Some pics from Glencree. I have about 50 pics, including one of each grave stone. Just picked a few to give ya an idea of the setting. It is in the side of a cliff beside a waterfall up in the Wicklow mountains on the outskirts of a small village and is situated near to the Glencree Reconciliation Centre...

The view as you enter the cemetary. Notice the Celtic cross on the cliff above and the tuetonic crosses amongst the graves.

The grave of a 1st WW and 2nd WW Germans...

Another of the 30+ grave markers...

And the Memorial Stone in English, German and Irish.

As a footnote my better half's Mother teaches at a German School in Ireland. Every year they bring wreaths up to the Cemetary. The Bundeswehr wreath is still at the cemetary...

If you want to see more let me know, and I would like to know any details of the soldiers buried there!

Done a check and no Ritterkreuztrager are buried in Glencree,

Erich,

You want a pic of each of the gravestones at Glencree? Do you want all the grave markers or just the WW2 ones?

I can get up there at some point, not a problem, its only half an hour away over the wicklow mountains. When do you need them by?

Let me know and I will tell the wife we are going for lunch in the mountains...
