Gents,

I wish to bring to your attention the following Ebay auction. This is a well known WWII poster for the Corps of Engineers.

The engineer that stood model for this picture, Vincent Leckey, has recently fallen on very hard times and his famiy and many others are trying to help him out. The man is in his 80's and lost his (uninsured) house due to a natural disaster (this is pre-Katerina).

Marion Chard of the great 6th Corps Combat Engineers Website is autioning off a SIGNED copy of the posted (signed, of course, by Mr. Leckey) to help him in his costs.

Gents, this is no rip off. Marion is 100% OK as is the family. On Marion's website the whole story of Mr. Leckey can be found as well. Please check the auction and bid if you feel so inclined. In itself this is a great piece of WII Memorabilia.
