just got home from a nice 4 day weekend in the mtns with the wife and found a note in my box that NJG 11 Me 262 night ace Karl Heinz Becker passed away. It was a pleasure for us to interview him for our future title on Kommando Welter.

The vets are passing away too fast .........

Very sorry to hear this, Erich. As Martin said, I am afraid too that we will be hearing this kind of news a lot this year.

Glad I choose History as my subject. Still hope to learn from the men who are still with s though...

Sadly its becoming more and more frequent. That is why programs such as "The World at War" are so important. The voices of the Past have a right to be heard down through the ages instead of just through 3rd parties
