"How Green Were the Nazis?" could be the title to beat this year for the Bookseller/Diagram Prize for oddest book title, with the contenders announced Friday.

The book - by Thomas Zeller, Franz-Josef Bruggemeier and Mark Cioc - is billed as the first to examine the environmental policies of the Third Reich. It is published by Ohio University Press.

Links quite well to the 'Libertarian National Socialist Green Party' whose title has always been one of the most bizarre ever chosen for a party, even in the world of extreme politics. Their symbol is a swastika on a green background.
I was going to put a link to their website but the last thing these nutters need is more publicity.
