it's amazing that after all this time, these war criminals are still being found, i thought the OSS took care of all this after the war? did they just stop hunting for them after a certain time?

This is a pair of Dutch resistance crystal radios, built into a small metal can, and a matchbox. The image is from a postcard bought at a Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. The matchbox is marked in Swedish, but Swedish matches were sold in Holland for many years..

I think the international powers started to scale down there hunts in the late to 1960's or early 1970's probably on the grounds the new bogey man was Russia.

von Braun would have beat the Soviets to the first satellite in space with Redstone(Jupiter), if not for some questionable choices, going with the Navy's Vanguard project, as it was he put the men on the moon, so he came close to mars, but no cigaren(made up to fit the punchline)
