Found this in the local paper here, one of only seven in the US!

This is a pair of Dutch resistance crystal radios, built into a small metal can, and a matchbox. The image is from a postcard bought at a Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. The matchbox is marked in Swedish, but Swedish matches were sold in Holland for many years..

The first thing I noticed about this picture was the bouquet of flowers on the ground. It's kind of eery seeing something that you know was involved in something as horrible as it was.

I agree, my father went with me to see it, and we didn't say anything, I took the photos and left. It left us both feeling a little sad.

Almost impossible to imagine that as many as 100-200 were stuffed into these tiny boxcars like cattle.......
