Wow this quite unusual! This is probably one of the most famous legs of WWII history. I bet there will be many bidders from Norhthern France interested too. On the other hand it's not the kind of thing I would dsiplay in my lounge, but certainly a nice addition in a museum.

I agree Martin. I am not the morbid kind of guy. I would have thought that they would have buried it with him out of respect. Speaking of respect, I like the story of the Luftwaffe, at Galland's request I believe, allowing the RAF to drop a set of legs as replacements after his capture.
