Remembrance Day Videos
Perhaps these YouTube videos have already been linked here before, but I was in the Free area and looking at WWI posts when I decided to research Beau Hamel where the Newfoundlanders were decimated in the British Army.
I came across this incredible video and then had a few related also come up. I hope this works:

Re: Remembrance Day Videos
I forgot to mention that the video contained both video & photos from both world wars. Some of the other videos are also very good - quite Canadian in content, but the emotion relates to all combatants. There were also some Australian videos in the group. These then led me to some others re the Blitz etc - all new to me, anyhow!

Are those regimental crests on the tombstones?

Re: Remembrance Day Videos
Canadian military tombstones are engraved with the maple leaf. Then below there may be religious or regimental insignia, as well as more information about the soldier.
The interesting thing is that the maple leaf was originally an unofficial emblem that came to be the most significant.
My Dad's grave marker in Soldiers Field here also has the same type of engraving, although instead of the uprights they went to the pillow style in an attempt to forestall the vandalization that had occurred in many cemetaries in the late 20th century.
