Default Kriegsmarine Bunkers today

the last week I had been looking on the net for a former KM Artillery/Flak gunner later serving in the land-division in Finland and in the Baltic on the Preussian shoreline till wars end. had been trying to find his former schule of teaching that which was Marineschule Wesermünde located in Bremerhaven. What I found was quite interesting as the name is still associated with two intact bunkers. After his time of some duration he was transferred to a Radar installation and werkstatt in training as a radar technician for heavy Flak installations at Danzig ............. and of all things, as the War would have it, he became part of a 8.8cm Flak Batterie defending Kiel and elsewhere.

the site is rich in colour and very important information, so please let it load as it is graphic intensive ~ Enjoy !

Excellent photos. Love em. The Germans were sure busy bees when it came to building these installations throughout the conquered territories.
