Default Time Team B-17

The Time Team excavation of a B-17 that crashed in to Reedham Marshes, Norfolk in 1944, is being broadcast tonight on the Discovery Knowledge cable/satellite channel at 7.00 pm and repeated again at midnight.

I watched it when it was first aired a few years back and found it quite interesting.

As usual, Tony Robinson presents the programme...so I guess Martin will be looking forward to it...

Sadly, I don't have satellite or cable or whatever - yes, I remember this one ; it's where they try to solve a mystery only to find that a local aviation museum solved it about 20 years ago.....

Aye...
On a slightly different note, I've learned that a German POW working party were based on Shooter's Hill in London at the end of the war, though I doubt if any of the stuff found by TT a few weeks ago relates to that.
