Default World War 2 Tanks found

Hey guys, I was surfing the web and came across this website, and in it were a series of pictues about the 'rescuing' of ww2 tanks. There is a captured T-34 pulled from the mud as well as one other t-34 , a StuG III upside down in some mud, and a KV-1 pulled out of a lake, some good photo's and desrciptions

Enjoy, I certainly did.

WWII Russian T34 Tank Rescue.

Thank you for the link! Awesome stuff.

I wonder how the stuG got flipped. and the Kv-1 sruvived amazingly. That little rust, and it wasnt even found submerged in mud like the captured T34.

The T 34 in Estonia is now hidden away and not on display as Igor Shedunov had been told that he would have to hand it over to the Estonian government and could not keep it !!

Until this matter is rectified it won't be putting on public appearances.

He and his group also know where a Tiger 1 is in a Lake in Estonia but won't even attempt to recover it until the situation with the government is sorted out,

He has a fantastic collection of WW2 Artifacts including recently found uniforms , documents , equipment from a Russian Shturmovik IL 2 , the famous " Flying Tank ".

regards

Paul
