Cheers Gordon, I grew up in York & remember vividly having the gaps in historic buildings made by bombs explained to me. Might have to order that for my dad.

One of the larger 1000kg bombs allegedly went straight down deep into the soft mud on clifton ings and is still there somewhere! and there are bullet marks on the upstairs bit of Haxby chip shop too!!!
