I applaud the daughter for exposing Mr. Jephcott's deception. This is a slap in the face to Guy Gibson and 53 men who lost their lives on May 17th, 1943.

One can almost feel sorry for people who do this sort of thing - it is literally pathetic. As they approach the end of their lives, they must need to feel that they did once achieve 'something'......uuuurrrgh ! Sad.

And don't forget, we have even had one or two such people appear on the Forum with their dubious claims in the past......

This is not the first person to pretend they were a war veteran there was a spate of people a few years back pretented to be para vets who claimed they had served in arnhem falklands etc.disgusting does not even begin to describe these people
