I've recently discovered that there is a good majority of the names of those that died during the Battle of Okinawa, missing from the American Battle Monuments Commission American Battle Monuments Commission
If you don't believe me do a search for LtGen Simon Buckner Jr on their website. I've contacted them about this and was politely ignored with a reply stating that the site was complete. If any one out there can help, please let me know or contact the ABMC

The names in the National WWII Registry of Remembrances were not automatically entered, they were entered by family, friends or other sources.

If there are names missing from the Registry, you are more than welcome to submit them.
Below is a form for registration, which you may submit via email or through the postal service.
